How to steep tea?

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to steep Darjeeling leaf tea.

Step 1: Choose Your Tea

Select a high-quality Darjeeling leaf tea that suits your taste preferences.

Step 2: Measure the Tea Leaves

Heat fresh, filtered water to a temperature between 195°F (90°C) and 205°F (96°C). Darjeeling tea requires lower temperatures to prevent bitterness.

Step 4: Steep the Tea

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let it steep for the recommended time:

* First flush (spring harvest): 3-4 minutes

* Second flush (summer harvest): 4-5 minutes

* Autumn harvest: 5-6 minutes

Step 5: Strain & Serve

If using loose-leaf tea, remove the leaves by pouring the tea through a strainer or tea infuser. If using a tea bag, remove the bag. Pour the tea into your cup and enjoy!
